Just a couple old pictures from high school :)

Our Notre Dame and St. Lawrence uniforms. Haha.

For the past couple months, I’ve been questioning whether I really want to major in nursing. I know I want to be working in the medical field but I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to do nursing for the rest of my life. It’s just so specific. I want something a little more broad so that I still have options when I graduate, depending on how I feel further down the line. I kept asking myself, should I really put in all this work into getting into a nursing program that I have doubts about? I just finished all my nursing prerequisites and I’m ready to apply, but I’m not even sure if I really want to go through with this. I don’t want to be in the middle of clinicals and realize then that I don’t want to do nursing. Yikes. After like 5 different advising sessions (SJSU advising sucks btw), I finally figured it out. For now, I am changing my major to Health Science with a Minor in Biology. Then after I get my BS degree, I’m planning on going to graduate school to specialize in what I decide I want to do. What a relief.
